Windows 10 Native Pen and Touch drivers cause a conflict with the SMART hardware (SMART Boards and Interactive Pen Displays). SMART Inc. has a fix for this and the instructions are below. If you have any questions please reach out to Vaughn Hampton at Instructional Technology.
Step 1: Open the SMART Settings from the SMART Board System Menu

Step 2: Select "About Software and Product Support" from the menu (Image Below)

Step 4: Select "Tools"

Step 5: Select "Diagnostics" from the menu

Step 6: In the new window, select the "Tools" Dropdown menu from the top and "Advanced Board Settings..." from the menu.

Step 8: Select the "VTPC Driver" Tab (located to the far right in the tabs) and make sure that "Enable VTPC Driver" is UNCHECKED. Apply changes and close.
