Body

Gloucester Campus

Description of Problem: You log into the RCSJ Portal without issue (http://rcsj.edu) but when you click the eLearning link you are given an error message.

Solution: There are multiple errors you might see when accessing eLearning, and each error requires a different solution. Read below to identify which error message you are viewing and find out how to resolve it.

ERROR 1: "Blackboard Learn is currently unable to log into your account using Single sign-on because the authentication request has expired. Please log out of single sign-on and try again."

Solution: This error message displays when your browser has cached an old session. To fix this, you will need to clear your browser cache. We recommend students learn Google Chrome to access eLearning. Click here for step-by-step instructions for clearing your browser cache in Chrome.

ERROR 2: "Could not login. Valid authentication credentials were not provided."

Solution: This error message displays when you do not have an eLearning account. If you've recently registered for a course, it can take 24 hours during the work week to get your eLearning account created. If this is not your situation, please reach out to Technical Support at 856-415-2298.
