Adding RCSJ email to your Apple device
This guide will give you step by step instructions on how to add your RCSJ email account to the
Apple device of choice using the following apps. Click the link below for the app you would like to use.
Outlook app (PREFERRED)
Apple Mail app
Outlook
Step 1 - Download and Open the Outlook app and type your RCSJ email address in the field given.
If you are a student, the address is: <your username>@students.rcsj.edu
If you are a faculty or staff member, the address is: <your username>@rcsj.edu
Step 2 - Enter your RCSJ username and password, then tap "Sign In".
This should be the same information you use for the RCSJ Portal.
Step 3 - Tap "Maybe Later".
Step 4 - You will then be given a brief tutorial about the features of
the Outlook app, complete this tutorial or click "Skip" in the lower left
to continue.
Step 5 - Finally, click "Turn on" to enable notifications. If you have
messages in your mailbox, they will begin to appear in your Inbox.
Apple Mail
Step 1 - Open "Settings", scroll down and choose "Apps".
Step 2 - Tap "Mail".
Step 3 - Choose "Mail Accounts".
Step 4 - Tap "Add Account".
Step 6- Tap "Microsoft Exchange".
Step 7 - Enter your full RCSJ email address and add a description. Tap "Next".
*If you are a student, the address is: <your username>@students.rcsj.edu
*If you are a faculty or staff member, the address is: <your username>@rcsj.edu
Step 8 - Tap "Sign in".
Step 9 - Enter your RCSJ username and password, then tap "Sign In".
This should be the same information you use for the RCSJ Portal.
Step 10 - Tap "Accept" to allow the device access to your email account.
Step 11 - Select the options you would like to sync to your
phone, then Tap "Save". If you have messages in your
mailbox, they will begin to appear in your Inbox.
