How to setup multifactor authentication on PC - Office Phone

Step 1 - Open a web browser app (chrome, firefox, etc.) and navigate to RCSJ.edu.

Select "Portal Login".

 

then sign in using your RCSJ username and password.


Step 2 - Now that you are signed in to the Portal, find the "My Applications" section and select "Email".

 

 

You will be shown the message below and your RCSJ email address, then select "Next" to continue.

 


Step 3 - Select "I want to setup a different method" from the link at the bottom of the page.

 

 

Use the drop down menu to select "Phone", then click Confirm to continue.

 


Step 4 - Select the "Call me" option and enter the RCSJ office phone number you would like to use. This number MUST be assigned to the person that is registering it.

 

 

You will then receive an automated call from Microsoft, you must dial "#" on your phone to continue.


Step 5 - Once the call is ended you will received a verification that the call was answered, click "Next" to continue.

 

Then select "Done" to complete the setup.
