This article explains how Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) students can download and install
Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and more) on their personal devices using
their RCSJ student email address (@students.rcsj.edu).
All currently enrolled students may install Office at no additional cost.
1. Sign in to the Microsoft 365 Apps Page
Open your web browser and go to: https://www.microsoft365.com/apps
This page provides direct access to the Office installation options.
When prompted to sign in, enter:
Your full RCSJ student email address (example: username@students.rcsj.edu)
Your RCSJ password
Complete any verification steps if required.
2. Download the installer
After signing in, click on Install apps and select Microsoft 365 apps:
Choose the save location:
3. Install Office on Your Device
Open the downloaded OfficeSetup.exe
Approve any security prompts
Office will install automatically
4. Activate Office
Open any Office app (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
When prompted, sign in using your @students.rcsj.edu email address
Office will activate automatically once your student license is verified
