POST EMAIL MOVE - Reconnect Outlook App from my Android Device

ANDROID OUTLOOK APP

 

After your email has been moved to office 365 you may see the following message on your Android device.

Please follow the instructions below to fix the issue. You will need to remove the account from your device and re-add it

 

REMOVING YOUR EMAIL FROM YOUR DEVICE

1) From within the Outlook mobile app, click the menu button.

             

2) Click the settings button from within the menu

         

3) Select the account to remove.

           Note: the following steps may need to be performed twice if you see your account twice then you will need to remove both entries.

     

4) Click delete at the bottom of your account details

      

RECONNECTING YOUR EMAIL TO YOU DEVICE

Step 1 - Open the Outlook app and type your RCSJ email address in the field given, then

tap "Continue".

If you are a student, the address is: <your username>@students.rcsj.edu

If you are a faculty or staff member, the address is: <your username>@rcsj.edu

 

NOTE: If you have other accounts added to your Outlook Client when you go to add another account you will have to click the "plus" icon followed by "Add an account"

 

Step 2 - Enter your RCSJ username and password, then tap "Sign In".

This should be the same information you use for the RCSJ Portal.

 

 

 

Step 3 - Tap "Skip" in the lower left corner.

 

 

 

Step 4 - You will then be given a brief tutorial about the features of

the Outlook app, complete this tutorial or click "Skip" in the lower left

to continue. If you have messages, they will begin to appear in your 

mailbox.
