POST EMAIL MOVE- Reconnect Outlook App from my Apple Device

After your email has been moved to office 365 you will no longer be able to send or receive the email. Unfortunately, you will not see an error message when the client breaks other than you can not send or receive any more email at that time.

Please follow the instructions below to fix the issue. You will need to remove the account from your device and re-add it

REMOVING YOUR EMAIL FROM YOUR DEVICE

1) From within the Outlook mobile app, click the menu button.

             

2) Click the settings button from within the menu

         

3) Select the account to remove.

           Note: the following steps may need to be performed twice if you see your account twice then you will need to remove both entries.

     

4) Click delete at the bottom of your account details

      

 

RECONNECTING YOUR EMAIL TO YOUR DEVICE

Step 1 - Open the Outlook app and type your RCSJ email address in the field given.

If you are a student, the address is: <your username>@students.rcsj.edu

If you are a faculty or staff member, the address is: <your username>@rcsj.edu

 

 

 

Step 2 - Enter your RCSJ username and password, then tap "Sign In".

This should be the same information you use for the RCSJ Portal.

 

 

 

Step 3 - Tap "Maybe Later".

 

 

 

 

Step 4 - You will then be given a brief tutorial about the features of

the Outlook app, complete this tutorial or click "Skip" in the lower left

to continue.

 

 

 

Step 5 - Finally, click "Turn on" to enable notifications. If you have

messages in your mailbox, they will begin to appear in your Inbox.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Apple Mail

Step 1 - Open "Settings" and scroll down and tap the the section 

"Passwords & Accounts", then tap "Add Account".

 

 

 

Step 2 - Tap "Microsoft Exchange".

 

 

Step 3 - Type in your RCSJ email address:

If you are a student, the address is: <your username>@students.rcsj.edu

If you are a faculty or staff member, the address is: <your username>@rcsj.edu

Also, enter any description to distinguish this email account apart from others. 

Then, Tap "Next" in the upper right.

 

 

 

 

Step 4 - Tap "Sign In".

 

 

Step 5 - Enter your RCSJ username and password, then tap "Sign In".

This should be the same information you use for the RCSJ Portal.

 

 

 

Step 6 - Tap "Accept" to allow the device access to your email account.

 

 

 

Step 7 - Select the options you would like to sync to your

phone, then Tap "Save". If you have messages in your

mailbox, they will begin to appear in your Inbox.
